Transfer to Thimphu Arrive at Paro International Airport, the only international airport in Bhutan, where you will be greeted by your guide. After immigration, drive (1.5 hours) to the capital city, Thimphu. Check-in at your hotel and relax after your journey. In the evening, take a short walk to explore Thimphu’s local markets and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government. Continue to Buddha Dordenma, a massive statue of the Buddha that overlooks Thimphu valley. Visit Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in memory of the Third King of Bhutan. Afterward, visit the National Textile Museum to learn about Bhutan’s textile traditions and the Folk Heritage Museum to get a glimpse of Bhutanese rural life. In the evening, you can visit the Tashichho Dzong (if open) for the evening ceremony.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha (approximately 3 hours). En route, visit the Dochula Pass for breathtaking views of the Himalayan range (weather permitting). On arrival, check in at your hotel in Punakha. After lunch, visit the famous Punakha Dzong, a stunning fortress at the confluence of the Pho and Mo rivers. You will also visit the Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility), a short walk from the main road. End your day with a peaceful walk along the banks of the Punakha river.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Phobjikha Valley (approximately 3-4 hours), famous for its breathtaking landscapes and as a winter habitat for the endangered black-necked cranes. Today, explore the Gangtey Monastery, which offers stunning views of the Phobjikha valley. Visit the Black-Necked Crane Center to learn about the conservation efforts for these rare birds. After breakfast, drive back to Paro (approximately 5 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and rest. Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) Hike & Departure On your final day, visit the world-famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched on a cliff 900 meters above Paro valley. The hike to the monastery takes approximately 3-4 hours and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. After exploring the monastery, return to Paro and have lunch before being transferred to Paro Airport for your departure.
