After breakfast leave for Sigiriya to climb the Sigiriya rock. Sigiriya is a massive rock that was transformed into a citadel during the reign of King Kasyapa, according to history. The capital and the royal palace were abandoned after the king's death. The rock fortress is famous for its frescoes and the mirror wall. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. En route Explore Paddy fields with jungle on both sides of the road we may see or hear a few peacocks and monkeys along the route. Afternoon leave for Kandy. En route in Matale. You will have the opportunity to visit a Spice Garden, After visiting the spice garden, continue our journey to Sri Lanka's hill capital - the small lakeside city of Kandy.
